SGC is holding, whose mission is to provide loss adjustment services in a fast, prompt and fair manner. The company takes on a commitment with the different stakeholders of the insurance and reinsurance market in order to prepare claim adjustments and prevent losses with the highest professional level, which is proof of the more than 100,000 claims served as of to date and the catastrophic ones, such as those from February 27th; 2010 and the landslides in the north of Chile in March 2015.<\/p>

The companies that are part of the holding of SGC are separated by specialty: SGC Ajustadores, SGC Transporte, SGC Recursos Naturales and SGC L\u00edneas Personales \u2013 Masivos. They all have a shared purpose of offering a total coverage of adjustment services in the different lines of insurance, such as engineering and construction, mining, energy, manufacturing, ports and airports, fixed assets, catastrophes, fires, contingency and sundry (Theft, mobile equipment, electronic equipment, etc.), hull, casualty, marine, air and land transport, aquaculture, forest risk, agricultural insurance, personal accidents and multiple-risks in general.<\/p>

SGC Ajustadores started operations in 1978 and developed important activities in the adjustments of casualty, employee\u2019s loyalty, financial risks and guarantees.<\/p>

In 1985, after a significant modification in their strategy, it became the first Chilean loss adjustment firm to represent a foreign company, when it staring working with Richard Hogg Services, the oldest and most prestigious company in the maritime and air insurance market.<\/p>

In 1995 the company changed its name to SGC and incorporated a new partner, a professional of wide experience in engineering insurance. The same year, it reached an agreement to represent the prestigious firm of international loss adjusters, Cunningham Lindsey, with a long international trajectory in the most significant claims of engineering, machinery breakdown and business interruption in Chile.<\/p>

We had a long business relationship with Cunningham until 2010, when after a strong earthquake in Chile we decided to follow different paths.<\/p>

Today, in June 2019, we signed a cooperation agreement with\u00a0Miller International Latin America<\/strong>, which consists in establishing a\u00a0collaboration relationship<\/u>\u00a0for the assignment of Claims, Insurance Loss Adjustments, Risk Inspections and claims management established before Insurers , Reinsurers and others, at National level.<\/p>
